Successful candidates will join the team of the project DATAREV, Leading the fi rst data revolution in European agriculture: farm accountancydata and their impact 1870-1945. The project investigates accounting as a crucial tool of Europe’s agricultural modernization.

Requirements:

• Completed Master's degree (or equivalent) in History, Economic or Business History or equivalent qualifi cation, with grades aboveaverage.
• A very good command of English (written and oral) is required.
• Knowledge of quantitative methods for economic history will be considered relevant.
• Fluency in German is not a necessary pre-requisite.

Your tasks will include:
Participation in DATAREV project, including:

• Completing a doctoral dissertation of the spread of farm accounting
• Supporting the creation of the database of historical farm accountancy data
• Participating in publications / academic articles / presentations as defi ned by the PI of the DATAREV project Helping with the organisation of meetings, conferences, symposiums.
