Unifying accounting terminology
At the Bucharest International Congress of Agriculture, in 1929, Laur presented his proposal for a standardisation of farm accounting terminology. The Congress supported him. He then invited professors of farm economics from all over the world to adopt his terminology and translate it into their languages.
The small three-language booklet Terminology and bases for an international agricultural statistic founded upon farm accounting (Brugg: Effingerhof A.-G.) contains a glossary of terms in English, French and German.
